Under the supervision of the Data Systems Manager, the Salesforce Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the ongoing management, configuration, and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. This role will assist in maintaining system health, supporting users, and ensuring data accuracy while contributing to continuous improvement of Salesforce processes aligned with organizational goals. This role also plays a key part in ensuring data consistency between Salesforce and integrated systems such as HMIS (Homeless Management Information System). Duties include Salesforce Administration and oversight of Data Quality. This position will ensure that interactions, interventions, and environments at Urban Peak are trauma informed and emphasize the physical and emotional safety of youth and staff.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce or another CRM system, preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification, preferred.
- Experience supporting integrated systems or data synchronization processes.
- Basic understanding of reports, dashboards, data management and system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with data reconciliation.
- Familiarity with nonprofit, housing, or human services data environments.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Lived experience reflective of the youth we serve encouraged but not required.
- Must be computer proficient and possess experience of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Understanding of the provision of and commitment to trauma-informed care and positive youth development.
- Must be insurable as a driver on Urban Peak’s auto liability policy in order to conduct business on behalf of the agency or transport youth using an Urban Peak vehicle and/or an approved personal vehicle.
- Ability to use second language in written and verbal communication is desired but not a requirement (most common languages in the Denver Metro area).
- Must pass both federal and state background checks.
- Must pass pre-employment physical.
- Must pass pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) screening.
- Ability to provide proof of education (HS Diploma OR Official Transcripts).
What You Will Do:
The job duties of this position are performed personally, in cooperation with your supervisor, and/or in coordination with other staff. Additional work functions and duties may be assigned.
Salesforce Administration:
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce administration support, including user account setup, permissions, and system access.
- Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- Support configuration tasks such as custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and basic automations (Flows).
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Help document system processes, workflows, integrations, and data reconciliation procedures.
Data Quality:
- Maintain data quality through regular audits, deduplication, and data imports/updates.
- Closely monitor data entry throughout the building, looking for performance gaps and partnering with program managers to hold staff accountable to data expectations.
- Reconcile data between Salesforce and the integrated HMIS system to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across platforms.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between systems in collaboration with the Program Oversight team.

Who We Are:
Founded in 1988, Urban Peak is the only non-profit organization in Denver that provides a full convergence of services for youth ages 15 through 24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Our goal is to meet youth where they are and to provide them with the assistance and support, they need to become self-sufficient or obtain the necessary services they need to exit a life on the streets.
Urban Peak provides numerous programs and services that are founded on the principles of trauma-informed care and Positive Youth Development to assist youth in reaching their potential and living a successful life off the streets.
